Hello World : Mahitala Team to Mount Everest

Helloworld, Seven Summits Expedition Team Indonesia Mahitala Unpar (ISSEMU) Parahyangan University has managed to climb five of the seven highest peaks in the world. Only two more peaks to be resolved, each peak in Alaska's Denali and Mount Everest in Nepal.

According to the plan, the expedition will proceed in March 2011. ISSEMU team will climb Mount Everest in Nepal which is the highest peak in the world's first. Furthermore, peak-to-seven target is Peak Denali, Alaska, North America. The circuit is expected to be completed by 2012.The five peaks that has been achieved is the Carstensz Pyramid (Indonesia) in February 2009, Kilimanjaro (Kenya) in August 2010, Elbrus (Russia) in August 2010, Vinson (Antarctica) in December, and Aconcagua (Argentina) in January 2011. The climb to Mt Vinson in Antarctica is a feat in itself because for the first time conducted an Indonesian.

"Achieving the fourth peak, Mt Vinson in the Antarctic Continent, is a form of dedication from us (Mahitala Unpar) to the Indonesian people because it is the first ascent made by the son of the nation," said Chairman Tim ISSEMU Sofyan Arief Fesa in a press conference in Jakarta, Sunday (23/01/2011).

The team consists of Sofyan Arief ISSEMU Fesa (27), Francis Xavier (23), Broery Andrew (21), Janatan Ginter (21). On the ascent of Aconcagua, the Supreme Person of the media Max Warta Kota participate. source www.kompas.com
